Café du Monde once again launches a new concept by placing its magnificent wine cellar, containing 1500 to 2000 bottles, in the middle of the dining room. There is something for every taste and budget: white, red, rosé, bubbly, champagne and spirits.

Café du Monde offers a selection of wines (including both regular and special vintages) from around the world . All of the bottles are arranged so that our clients may admire and read the labels Mario Audet holds the keys to this treasure trove, which he manages and restocks with great care.

Just One Glass of Wine for Me, Thanks
An excellent way to try new products without paying for an entire bottle is to order wine by the glass. Café du Monde offers fifteen products that are sold by the glass. No matter which you choose, "votre soif détermine le prix". Isn't that a great idea?

	Wine by the Glass: A Concept That Spread Like Wildfire! Café du Monde began selling wine by the glass in the 1990s. Our clients asked other restaurants for this service, and our idea soon caught on.

Local Vintages
You have a choice of wines of all over the world from between $26 and $350 a bottle! Café du Monde has a great wine list offering excellent value for your money (between $35 to $45 a bottle). If you want to spoil yourself, our wine cellar has many award-winning vintages.

	Wine and the Brain Danish researchers have undertaken a study proving red wine reduces the risk of developing Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia by 50% (however, beer has the opposite effect). It has been known for some time that red wine reduces cholesterol levels, but only if taken in moderation!
